About Me

Licensed Massage Therapist since 1992

Certified Aromatherapist since 1994

I am very passionate about massage (you kinda have to be to last 32 years in this field of work). I see people everywhere hurting as they shop for groceries, walk through the airport, exercise, or even just sit in their car. I cringe with them as they turn their necks in pain and discomfort. I often find myself in a conversation with them, and sometimes they ask for a short massage just to ease their pain for a brief moment. It brings joy to my heart to see the relief and amazement on their faces.

Few massage therapists know how to feel for muscle tensions and knots in the body. I learned how to do this by training blindfolded (seriously). I am also one of a handful of massage therapists certified to use the VibraCusser which is an instrument used for muscle fatigue, breaking up scar tissue, and increasing blood flow.

From the very beginning of my career, I had a passion and God-given ability to massage those in need. From 1995-2009, I owned my own practice near the San Antonio Medical Center, where I massaged many doctors, nurses, pregnant women, cancer patients, hospice patients, elderly, burn victims, and abuse victims. I closed that office in 2009 and began massaging in private homes, local spas, and corporate offices. In 2024 though, I felt ready to open my office again... this time in the Alamo Quarry area.

In 2004, I walked through a very dark time in my life where I struggled with anxiety and insomnia for nearly 2 years. Nothing I tried seemed to help, but in 2006 I finally discovered a unique blend of essential oils that worked for me. I have been so impacted by the benefits of essential oils that I added Aromatherapy to my business name.

When I am not in my office, I enjoy relaxing at home on my back deck. I love watching the squirrels run up and down the trees to gather their morning peanuts as birds sing and snack at their feeders. Nature is healing for me. Early in my career I actually partnered with a local ranch and vet to massage their horses, dogs, and cats. The musculature of these beautiful creatures simply fascinated me, and I enjoyed every second of it. I am a proud parent of 2 adult children, and a long-distance grandmother of a toddler (thank God for FaceTime)! I have loved watching my grandson grow through the years. Every day is a new experience in his small little world. I look forward to sharing with him my faith in Christ, as well as my passions to care for others and help the broken-hearted.

I believe massage helps to heal the body, mind, and spirit, and I take my client’s physical and mental health very seriously. Each session is tailored to address your specific needs. Thank you for viewing my website, and I look forward to helping you meet your health and wellness goals.
